I think its a bit off giving the guy a hard time! at the end of the day he is not doing anything wrong. just trying to make a living like you and me and if he thinks he can make it pay then good luck to him

 

 

I agree with you but look out, you will have the "lighten up man its Christmas" police after you, they were out last night.

To many mixed messages. Arb arising are either valuable or their not. One man is felling trees to get the stuff another is charging to take the stuff away. If you tell the customer you charge to take the trunks away and they say leave them behind you cant then tell them you are missing out on the money for the logs. I often give tree surgeons a drink for any nice timber they get some are embarressed to take it others want a few hundred quid :confused1:

I've seen a few ads like that on gumtree where it's free to post them and some ads for people wanting someone with a saw to cut them some wood up for a fee and tea thrown in. He will want to pick his jobs so I doubt he'll be taking anything like a serious job on.
