saw test tomorrow

The MS66 will probably have it just for cutting small stuff on a 3/8 chain, the 560 will be up there and ahead of many of the rest.

 

We did similar over a year ago and the big saws on 3/8 are faster than the smaller ones on 0.325 - next you will be looking at having them ported:thumbup:

 

Can't say on the Dolmars - not played with them yet:blushing::lol:

Well here goes! nice clean poplar log at 200mm (8"),letting the saws do the work and not using dawgs:

 

stihl 066 25" 24.5 seconds

stihl ms460 20" 18.8

echo 610 18" 24.3

echo 550 16" 27.8

husky 550xp 13" 26.3

husky 560xp 15" 22.1

husky 242xp 13" 31

dolmar 5105 16" 27.1

 

Popped the 15" on the husky 550xp as suggested and it managed 28.5

the dolly and echo 550 were literally on second tank out of the box so probably a little tight still

not an exact science or test but interesting :thumbup:

HI 88 nice to see the 460 there mate done well how many runs did you with 560xp to set the auto tune it would nice to what the 560 would be like on 3/8 chain 15" ?? thanks nice one jon
