Hey guys, a good friend of mine has recently been putting is qualifications into practice by creating apps but has only made silly things out of boredom but would like to make something of some use to the arb trade after doing a couple of days with me and really enjoying it. Was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts of apps that would be useful to the trade? Have already suggested a height app which he is working on at the moment but he would like some more ideas.

Theres already a height app but another and seeing his would be interesting.

Maybe an app that recognises a leaf by taking a pic.

Theres also an apps called arborist which is quite good but costs a lot after the trail and is manly in u.s or aus. A cheaper if not free app for the uk would be great

An app which Geo maps trees by placing the phone on the tree and pressing OK. Options to input information for surveys. Back office to create mapping info for documents with potential to create maps on Google for global access by multiple parties.

Or just one that locates the local café

You have a bank balance to start up a firm. Start with basics and grow huge :) would be a awesome game.

2nd that, it sounds awesome.

Old mill tree care, what's wrong with caravans? 😠
