Ported 390XP

Just like to say a big thanks to Petemate for porting my 390XP

 

The power upgrade is amazing, it now pulls a 36" bar like it used to pull a 24"

 

With the 24" its a screaming madman, in the nicest possible way, its a "tad" louder than before and its developed a better liking for fuel but that's only to be expected

 

Best £120 I have spent in a long time.

To be honest I don't rightly know what's happened internally, its got a new exhaust outlet and I think he has fitted some kind of "mega awesomeness" component somewhere.

Was thinking about this about an hour ago and after seeing this thread I'm def gonna get it done I think, would it be worth letting warranty run it's course first?

That's what I did, moding it would certainly void the warranty.

Oh its a bad boy ... Ported 390 against it with the same bar and chain and its still an unfair comparison
