Hi guys,

What's people's opinions on a good mid range saw?

I have a 550xp at the moment, but need something for larger jobs, although not as big as the 3120xp I currently have too.

I need to be able to climb with it too.

Thanks

560 or 576.

I have a 550 and its fantastic almost as good as a 357 but sometimes you need a bit of extra power. But not a 576 worth of power. Really you want 550,560,576 then you'll have every base covered. Look at the 560.

576 /372 or 441-461 I'm not really counting the 560 as a mid range if you already have a 550 and 372, it's not going to really fill the gap your missing

Jon, the problem with having an 880 as your mid-range saw is that it limits your options a bit when choosing your big saw.

seen the v8 chainsaws on youtube? :001_rolleyes::001_smile:
