Selling Christmas trees here. Had three £5 tips in 2 days. Helped one couple with sorting a tree as they really struggled and the woman said I was really knowledgeable and knew what I was doing. Also that she doesn't normally like people but she likes me! Needed some wide doorways after that.

Certainly is way too commercialised, consumers need to stop consuming all the crap and bring back the green Santa.

Best tip I had was "always put your barrow near your muck". It's stood me in good stead and saved me a lot of unnecessary walking.

i got a 1er on a fence in the summer!!!! also had a tree last year where I was tipped at the end of the job plus when Christmas came received a card from the same customer with another £20 in it

3 of us got £20 each yesterday and last week we managed to walk away with about £75 worth of whisky each! Apparently the guy gets given it lots and doesn't like it, fine by us!

A tip? What is this tip you speak off? I got a cup of Tea once almost broke down in tears with this simple act of human kindness, thought the sugar was very fine! F@&£ salt!!
