Fill an old rinced 5l oil bottle with it. Stab some holes in the lid and shake over the stump until its blue. Do not get it any where near your skin unless you intend to spend a week or so looking like a smurf! ;)

 

That's how I've always done it.... used the pointy end of a file to stab the holes in the lid :thumbup:

All the information will be on the COSHH data sheet with the product regarding dilution rates. I would suggest a hand sprayer or if many stumps a knapsack. Paint brushes and lids with holes stabbed in tends not to cut the mustard so to speak if your seen these days!

also you want to do it stright afther felling and cover 100% of the cut on the stump

 

So cutting for a day then nap sacking at the end of the day is too late. As said above a 3-5l pressurised bottle sprayer will be ideal!
