Hi,

I plan to treat norway spruce stumps with urea to help prevent any infection from Heterobasidion annosum. My site in Dorset is apparently high risk if you use the Forestry Commission guidance tool.

Problem is I can't find anything on generic internet searches that explains how you apply it to the stumps. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Alan

Fill an old rinced 5l oil bottle with it. Stab some holes in the lid and shake over the stump until its blue. Do not get it any where near your skin unless you intend to spend a week or so looking like a smurf! ;)

That always worked for us too.

Also, don't spill a 25l drum of it in the back of your pickup - it's not the best to clean out.......
