Don't understand this thread at all.

 

The Ebay advertisement says that it is . . . . . . "Brand New in the box Stihl MS661 with 30 inch bar and chain.

12 months Stihl warranty. . . . . . "

 

What is there to suggest that this is not a legitimate sale?

 

I am aware that there is a lot of dodgy equipment sold on Ebay, but what is it that suggests that this item is dodgy?

 

Please help educate me because I fear that I am missing something.

HI ALL 661 is on stop from dealers so how get in a stihl box thanks jon :thumbup:

Surely if there is a recall from Stihl on these saws he would get his full money back from where he bought it from. As Stihl are now not allowing internet sales it must have been a local purchase. It is second hand if he sells it and wont get nearly as much from a buyer as he would from a refund. Maybe there is something dodgy about this saw (apart from it being a crap saw)
