Husqvarna Grease pump assembly

I have a new plastic Husqvarna grease gun that came with a saw. There is a little rubber seal/washer rattling about inside it. I'm guessing this pump has not been assembled correctly. Can i take it apart and put it back together without breaking it? If so any hints?

 

Or do I just ask the dealers to swap it?

Buy an Oregon metal pump.

 

Scoop the grease out of the Husky pump and put it in the Oregon pump.

 

Put the Husky pump in the bin.

They're not manufactured properly never mind assembled properly. Do as previous poster said. Get rid that piece of shat

I bought a grease gun on ebay . It's plastic with a metal nozzle and full of grease for £5.58 including post and it works fine. I used to use a syringe to do it but it wore out.

The Oregon metal ones are less than £8.

I've had mine about 10 years.

I use spray grease from auto factors, not sure if thats the right thing to do though

I may try the one that came with the 550 then. My metal one is having a tantrum at the moment despite being full of grease it wont come out.

The best thing to do with the provided grease pump is throw it straight in the bin.

I bought the metal Oregon one from Skyland Equip and it works perfectly.
