so do you think the 550xp (cheaper for me) would be the same?

considering i know at least one person who bought the 550 and a week later carb ****** up with same issue as "everyone" else has been having..

The 550's on the whole seem to have had less problems than the 560's.

My 550 is nearly two years old now and so far has never caused me any problems.

Either way, I'd buy either without hesitation.

Had my 550 xpg nearly a year it's been faultless and a lovely saw to use.

I picked up a as new husky 346xp for 210 bar a few months ago. Had very little use and is a dream to use. Found it on ebay. If you've got patience then this much maligned auction site is hard to beat. The guy even threw in a can of fuel, 10ltrs of chain oil, files, spare chain, and a splitting axe !!!. He said it was his Dads who had recently passed away . Got it cheap as he listed as buyer collects only, helped that I was only 5 miles away.:shakehands:

i got shot of our 550 as it was a dog it had been back to dealer 8 times or more but it was a great saw to use it didn't put me off so i bought us a 560 and its even better if they do continue to break down keep until the warrantys expired then stick it on ebay
