i need a durable, semi professional forestry saw. Not too big i.e. 40 - 50 cc displacement.

for not too much dosh!

i was looking at the husky 550xp - but i know all the bad reviews of them going wrong and even know a couple people that have told me first hand.

looking at husqvarna or stihl.. unless there is another outstanding saw of a different maker

any advice, comparisons and suggestions appreciated!

Have they?? I know Atleast 10 people running 560's who have had no problems at all ... There will always be saws in batches that are dogs ... I'm sick to the back teeth of my 372 and every body else raves on them. . Back to the 560 it's been so far one of the best saws I have owned.

so do you think the 550xp (cheaper for me) would be the same?

considering i know at least one person who bought the 550 and a week later carb ****** up with same issue as "everyone" else has been having..
