I remember now, we discussed the 18" screened chipper. Incidentally we was planning a trip to France in the next few weeks to view this if your interested? If you want to visit we are open Seven days.

I'll give you a call and we'll nip over with the tape measure!

Did you plan to stick that 250 on the Tracked Dumper Stephen?? That would be pushing things a little!!

I'd have thought Greg could get through some gear in a day on pretty much any terrain with a 90 mounted to the back?

Eddie.

I had that plan as well Eddie, I had a bandit 250, it was emmense!!! You could drop a tree on it and it would be ok!

This is a 12-14" dead elm with a metre of ivy round it

I'm looking into buying a bandit wood chipper I'm not sure what model of 90xp or 150ld there is mixed reports of there power to chip conifer which is easily 70 percent of our chipping

I'm sure there are tough robust chippers but if you guys could help me out or advise on what to go for if appreciate it

Thanks

Hi Lumberjacks,

I have a 150xp Bandit with a Perkins Turbo and it chews everything we put in it. I have just one chipper and it doesn't matter if its a 1" whip or conifer that is winched in, it just eats it!

On Monday the stress control function activated, this is a rare occasion, it was conifer and it back off, then it just flew through.

My machine is quite senior with many hours, and extremely solid. Everything still works perfectly.

I would purchase another tomorrow without hesitation.
