I dont get it?

You bought a new saw, from a dealer I presume? not a bloke down the pub?

Then why on earth would you do anything other than take it back to be fixed or exchanged by said dealer when a problem arose?

You fixed it yourself, but without understanding why it went wrong the first time how can you expect it not to go wrong again?

I hope I'm missing something here, otherwise I'd say it's really bad form to then come on here and have a moan at Husqvarna.

Basically Rover- Im the last person to moan at Husqvarna , the warranty was 90 days as it is on all Pro saws , Stihl or Husqy . This is From a Large Dealer network ( Not a bloke down the pub ) This posting was to garner any other complaints from other users ( And Ive seen many !) I fitted the new parts on the expired warranty saw as we had no other option . ( Scrap a £700 saw ? ) And I had several reasons in mind for the saw failing - any one of them could be a culprit - but any dealer would replace failed parts and return it to you - I did not expect a new saw to fail AT ALL ! K
