Bought another 1 Doobin.  I’ve 2 yards, 180 miles apart and got fed up dragging it up and down the rd.  so this is the up north digger and the other 2 are Ayrshire diggers now.    Arb spec = twin lines, guarding and a grab I reckon.

Bloody hell you must do some miles! Makes sense though.

I rarely go further than ten miles from the yard. Lucky down here in the South.

Hi Pal, I didn’t make use as it was only up to 2 year deal at 0%. Finance rates are still very low so made use of having the additional cash in the bank and bought another excavator 🤣

Finance rates are not that low, but if the manufacturer is doing 0% over two years then they will also do subsidised rates over five. I think my E27 is 1.6% over five years.

Aye I rack up the miles.  Did about 1000 miles the other week.
But I don’t pick conifers hedges cuttings out of flower beds or off gravel anymore so sitting in a nice Hilux looking at countryside isn’t a bad swap.
Finished my cut n fill job yesterday I’ve been picking away at.

Can anyone help me with locating the lever (I hope) to change the hammer circuit from twin to single for a Kubota Kx61-2? I would presume its like the -3 and sure there are a few people on here with one...

I have bought a flail and want to have a go with it but cant find this lever....

I've had some panels up in the floor etc and not sure what I'm looking at / for.... Like I say, hoping for a really obvious lever lol

Even a picture would be awesome :D

Usually just to the side of the boom, it’s just a wee valve lever.  The Yanmar are under the dead man lever on the floor under a plastic blank though just to be awkward.

Dan I pinky promise I never got out the cab for slab stacking and the broken 1 was already broken.

I'm sure you've probably sorted it by now but on the 61-3 it's under the floor, right near the door. Silver handle, turn it 90° 👍 never used the -2 so not sure if it's the same

Cheers but nope not sorted it yet 😞

I've looked all over and would seem that maybe mine is piped up for twin and no lever to go back to single... the plot thickens.

I know nothing about digger hydraulics so it's overwhelming in there 😆

It may be that it's double acting only. It doesn't have to be in single acting to run a flail but it helps keep the oil cooler. Plenty of people run flails on things like a Bobcat E19 which is double acting only. You'd need to chat to the flail mainfacturer regarding motor suitability, but most modern ones are set up to run in either direction with a cross line relief.

I'd give your cooling system a good blow out and try it. There should be a warning light for oil overheating too.
