Had a problem with my saw today with part of the toggle braking off and jamming up the pull cord mechanism. Easy to fix with a knot on the pull cord but so thing to watch out for!

I thought Spud was on Holiday:biggrin:

Perhaps he has locked himself away with a little Husky in bits.

Watch this space, it wont be long before people start playing with them.

Probably a little early yet but out of curiosity!!! Has anyone ported or had one ported yet?? :D

Isn't that something that you do when you're not convinced by the stock power?

IMHO a ported 540 would scare the **** out of me. :D

Not really mate. It can actually be better for the saw, why would it scare you?? You wouldn't use it any different buddy??

This is my very first tophandle in thirty years of treecare that I trusted with a 16 inch bar! The saw doesn't sound like it's running properly at all but when the chain hits wood and when the going gets tough this little saw is unstoppable!

I don't really see any point in modding this high revving lean burning saw when it cuts elm and oak with a fully buried 16 inch bar like it does.

According to the manual we are supposed to grease the bar tip sprocket and the needle bearing at the clutch.

The supplied plastic grease gun never works IME and I don't know how else to get the grease into the bar tip.

I've never done this in any of my other saws.

What do you guys use?
