Free'd up some snapped out limbs on by far the tallest tree I've worked in to date. I was cutting around the 65/70 foot mark.

We've been busy, tidied a horse chestnut that had its top snapped out, cleared a conifer that was leaning onto a house and done this walnut that snapped at the base

Interesting one yesterday, robinia snapped at about 10ft, resting on a house and row of garages. Nothing close to anchor into and tiptoe across the top of the garages and very limited space for mewp or crane.

Just wondering, as there wasn't any round Bristol way. How many of these trees had faults anyway? (Weak forks, root rot etc). And how many were healthy, but casualties of the wind?

First tree of the day was this goat williow. Split straight down the lowest union. So both gardens had half each.

Bit of a random query but has anyone done any tree work in Gillingham, Dorset after Monday nights pounding? As got 3 sites there with good sized trees that were in full leaf. If any Dorset/Wilts guys are up that way could ya PM me of any problems. The sites are Rolls Bridge and Hawthorn Avenue (Cold Harbour area) and Chantry fields (near Waitrose). Any info would be much appreciated.
