White Noise

Well I was happily grinding away some 18" Conifers Stumps today . Then all of a sudden I heard a loud clatter / bang . I then proceeded to check the odd noise out . What I found was 3 young scally wags whom nearly had my plant trailer tail gate off and away . When I confronted them they retreated to the safety of there High sided Tranny . Telling me that there father would be coming for me lol . How stupid / brazen are these people ?

Got the reg no . Will call the local bobby in the morning . I normally lift the tail gate up but on this occasion I left it down . It doesn't help that there are no retaining pins on the hinge as quite often its used a a flat bed ? Lesson learned for the sake of a few mins I will lift the tail in future . I just cannot get over how off the cuff it all was to them :sneaky2:

H Hunter I have heard of this before when a local gardener got his tools pinched . Trouble was he had the same routine most morning's local shop for a paper and his fags . Only to come out one morning and his hedge cutters / strimmer and blower had gone : ( They were on his little Bedford Rascal pick and not secured ?

I know that there was no excuse for stealing them but that is rather asking for it. Even when I'm just driving somewhere in the truck, my saws and any other easily lifted kit is locked on. :001_rolleyes:

Trouble is until you do get your kit nicked you don't realise that these scum exist.
