Dont phone orange plant, There a complete rip of, Our bearings went on my 150 and they wanted 900 quid just for the parts

When I rebuilt my chippit I spent hours on the phone to Graham at Orange plant, who more or less talked me through rebuilding it, emailed me drawings of the electric system and diagrams of the shaft and fins so I got the right parts.

 

The parts I ordered came the next day of ordering, which enabled me to get the machine back working earning me money and paying my mortgage!

Graham is a personal friend and an exceptional mechanic, he recently asked if I could drop the Vermeer manuals down to him so he can have a look and familiarise himself with it before it goes to him for services etc...

Iv'e spoken with Graham in the past and have also used orange plant (York branch) I got a very good service and have no complaints. Will be taking mine to Orange plant if I get any problems. Credit where it's due and all that.

I am now neutral about orange plant.

 

I used to dislike them a lot for cold calling during the day, I had to be quite severe with them before they finally got the message.

Used them a few times no real problems been helpful , fixed an electrical problem on my grinder a few months back not cheap but got it sorted fast.

 

Pity they flog timberpup !
