Can you tell someones age group from the way they Post

Do you get a feel for someones age by the posts and responses. Feels like the average age has dropped recently on Arbtalk.

 

Lots of internet abbreviations like LOL, LMAO, ROTFL indicates that the poster is less than 25 years old

 

Proper spelling and punctuation indicates that the poster is more than 40 years old.

 

But everyone posts silly smileys :bash::crazy::rofl::laola:

Think you are spot on with that one! I think the only time some use a colon is to do a smiley:-)

 

As for capital letters for names, the use of too & to, their & there and paragraphs - what do they teach in schools today:001_rolleyes::001_tt2:

I'm 25 and don't now what LMAO or ROTFL mean! Don't paint use all with the same brush please ;)
