Or if your not as handy as big Deano, you can do what I do and surround youself with all types of proffessionals. My best pals are a sparky, a plumber, a builder, a mechanic, a panel beater, and a welder fabricator. Work for work anyone. Or work for beer money. haha

But If I can do it. I do do it.

That's how to do it :001_smile:

Sorry Mesterh, missed this one.

Tried that, it made a slight difference but not much. :001_smile:

No worries M8.

Any ideas on what you think is causing the problem of the chip being fired out with too much force?

Or is it just down to the bad design of the factory spout.

I personally think it's because the cutting of the material takes place directly under the spout opening and on the Bandit the anvil is on the side, so it basically cuts and chucks straight up the tube, whereas most other chippers anvils are on the bottom of the opening so they cut, then carry the chip round the drum for half a turn before throwing it out of the spout which is 180 degrees away from the infeed opening.

Just my theory

Snap, though I also have a hinge on mine now too so I can drive into/through garages.

It makes life so easy. We Put 18cm3 through it on one job this week and shoveled 4 spades of chip up from around the trailer (before it was about 50% in the trailer and the rest all over the garden).
