Very impressive

would a flow valve not be a good idea to slow the slew and raise/lower ram movements a bit ?

I was just thinking the same thing, my old Carlton 4012 had the flow valve and it made it very controllable.

Good stuff, I am a big fan of the "eigenbau" school.

The head seems to rise a little on the cut, a closed centre valve on the up/down circuit would stop that.

the valve is closed centre i think its air in the top side of the cylinder or it could be the ground that isn't flat letting the tracks rock as shes front heavy

Air sounds the likely culprit, or perhaps the PR on the centre is blowing off see if the sucker will wind out a little.

Glad to see you are on top of the job:thumbup1:

the spool is closed centre and the valve block is open centre as it has a gear pump closed centre valves are for variable flow piston pumps or accumulator fed set ups
