very cool mate, what are you going to tow it with, have you decided ?

No need to get a Unimog - I'll just employ you to tow it! Will get a Unimog or similar to tow it eventually, but it's not a priority at the moment. Almost all of my work is static at the yard. There is a shed (40x20ft) going over it next week, which will make for more pleasant working conditions.

 

The throat between the guide rollers is 29 inches, the throat between the uprights is about 36.75 inches and the vertical throat is 40 inches. It will take a fairly hefty log and anything bigger than about 34 inches is always chainsaw mill halved prior to band milling anyway.
