right fella's...am I the only one that takes perverse satisfaction when I price up a job...don't get it...and drive by a week later and see a butchered tree?

 

The spec for this Oak was going to be a 20% crown reduction and 10% thin...they elected for the £100 cheaper option...'cut the top off and watch it get so thick it'll need thinning next summer'

You can't teach stupid...............

 

I love customers who are prepared to listen, who accept advice and who are prepared to pay a little more for what's best for the tree and ultimately for themselves. Do they think their tree is going to be any different to the pole next door?

We've all had it mate.

Customers happy to pay for work like that are customers I'm more than happy to lose.

 

For the record, Felix did it with some ladders, but I don't want to grass him up.

loads more light..until next june...when we go and do the crown thin!...its in Southend, Essex mate. What grips me is, I could do this in 20 mins flat....maybe its me thats wrong eh!?...ah well.
