Found a ducks nest about 40feet up a pine in Stowmarket, client said the little duckings just fall down and run across the busy street to the pond. She's never found one dead from the drop yet!:001_smile:

I once climbed a tree and as i got to the bowl a massive bird flew out nearly taking my helmet off and i said flipping heck that was massive as big as a golden eagle and yes you guessed it was a duck

never heard the end of that one

Nice pics. I had to dismantle a beech tree around ten years or so ago & whilst making my way to the top i found a duck with eggs in an old cavity. Luckily the tree was in a park & we managed to get a safe area fenced off till they fledged. We then brought the tree down to a 10m stump & ducks returned the following year to nest. I wish i took some photos now!
