I was once told that insurance companies consider them a modification, and you should make them aware that they are fitted. Don't know if its true or not.

I've heard that before, one of my good friends who works for an insurance broker says that some companies do but it's very uncommon. I'm glad Aviva don't!!!!

There a must for short cuts on footpaths during rush hour, parking anywhere etc

Yup. Currently only have the 1 beacon on the vans but are making a request to have more added on the front, back and a new LED beacon on the roof as the current ones are just about visible in daylight. Tempted to get a dash mounted LED light as well for a temp measure.We also have Highway Maintenance across the back of our Rangers but not the L200.

Yep, magnetic Britax led on top and magnetic reflective chevrons for the tail gate. Can put them on when needed.

Yes, front and back led repeaters and a led light bar On top on both vehicles. An must imo even just for reversing into driveway it makes outher road uses more aware of you.

What do you have to do in the chapter 8 test, is it just about road safety and setting up signs etc? And what's the rough price to do it? Cheers
