Don't sell the good stuff to the daft one's. Sell em anything but. There money is as good as anyone else.

 

Any suggestions?? Willow?alder?concrete 😜I couldn't do that to anyone. Even if they don't know what a good product is

3 years ago a new customer complained they were too dry too. She said "is this your trick so that they burn faster so that you sell more?"!!! I said just put the hosepipe on them or store them in the pond. Never did go back!

 

Had a complaint this week that the load (1m3) was too big - twice as much as they wanted! :laugh1:

Lol delivery to me. Can never have to much wood! Or is that the mrs saying 😕

The last time a customer told me my logs were too dry,i advised him to dip the log in a pail of water for 5 minutes before throwing on the burner.

He then said ok i.ll try that,paid me and shuffled back into his house.

How about spraying the customer with the hosepipe next time? 😄

just dont take them any more took 2 year cut ash to one guy said it was to dry took same to another come from same forwarder load said it was so wet he couldnt burn it so he bought green beech instead dont wast you time on muppits

we had someone a few weeks back ask if the logs were balsa wood as they were too light and could he have some that wouldnt give him splinters cause these looked very woody
