Got pulled yesterday!

While out and about yesterday in my land rover I got directed by police into a checkpoint set up with police, vosa and hmrc,I couldn't believe my luck!

Anyway after having my id checked, diesel tank dipped, and vehicle given a cursory inspection I was allowed on my way. phew !!!

After all the checks I was told that the operation was targeted at the high sided transit touring club and scrap metal fraternity, looking at the several vehicles parked there I imagine a good days hunting was had!

Is'nt it good to see something being done for the honest people among us?

I've been through these checks and why it's great someone's cracking down on the naughty boys it disgusts me the was the officers talk to you and can see why there is contempt for the police. Especially traffic officers who seem to like to want to exert there dominanece over you. I'm a very placid person but if someone who was not plod used such words to me they'd soon get a boff on the nose.

I once got in a row with a traffic officer who said I needed a trailer licence for my tw150 and a taco. When I said with confidence that because of the plated weight and distances and goods carried etc I didt they got shirty with me until a vosa man corrected him.

Incredible, the consensus from the vocal minority here is that the VOSA man is a semi trained halfwit

I don't mind getting pulled over because it gives me smug satisfaction to witness all the scumbags getting caught.

Plus I'm always courteous enough to congratulate VOSA, Police, HMRC chaps on their good work.

👍

Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

I once managed to win a dozen bags of builders sand that someone had to unload to get down to weight, two weeks on the owner hadn't collected and the VOSA man was glad to see the back of them
