We pulled off a job today because as we suspected it needs a MEWP to get it down with busting some very expensive targets.

We need something with a low-ish footprint (access is across lawns) and the setup is ok but not particularly level.

Outreach not a massive issue, maybe 20ft.

The tree is about 87ft to the tips.

Any suggestions on machines and prices appreciated, although I'll have a site visit with Nationwide booked shortly.

We would be looking for a full contract price with operator, the customer is happy to pay this.

Thanks.

Iv used a 30m tracked Teupen, decent machine when it worked, ok on grass although I would suggest some boards if you want to turn. It is a big machine though, you wont be tracking it through any garden gates.

Used the Tuepens loads, 30m is really nice. loads of boards for when you are slo'ing it into position on the grass, they are easy to set up on uneven ground just using the auto level.
