Air compressor

So guys I'm looking at getting a small compressor mainly to blow out saws etc and wondered what make and model you would consider? Also would a small compressor be powerful enough to run a belt sander. It would have to be a plug in the wall type and fairly quite.

Cheers Dan

you need to see what flow rate the belt sander needs to run on to mach a compressor to it. if you can get one 11cfm or above with a large tank will run most air tools ok. once you get one you will say i could do that eg shot blasting or spraying need a biggish tank for that. machine mart do some good ones.

if you get one with a small tank you will have a bit of quiet time when using it unlike the others that make constant noise. a 25l tank on an oil free comp will do all you wish and more, and never need to check anything. Just plug it in when needed. You wont wait long for a 25l tank to fill, i often use whats left in the tank with the air gun to clean things when it is unplugged.
