Yes it tips, quick way to unload ;)

Cutting stuff smaller is ok if it's just firewood quality but I often want to lift bigger bits to mill or beams I have mill or carved chairs so the Crain is invaluable for this but handy the rest of the time.

One line of thought we had a while back and wounded if any1 had or knew of a landrover with the rear tub removed and a crane fitted On like many have done with mogs be it on a smaller, cheaper scale, this way maximising the available towing capacity?

I looked into putting the crane on the back of the landy but I couldn't find a knuckleboom crane with a suitable lift capacity that was not going to stick out of the sides too much.

Stiffboom should be able to fit on it nicely though.

There is one on ebay hiab landy

I was thinkin more like a truck cab 110 with the back off and a sub frame built onto the outriggers to carry the crane and legs similar to how a Mewp would be mounted which should give more space for a k boom to fold up on.

Think I spotted something like this year's ago On powreline construction but not sure how it was set up. That one on eBay looks tidy but would struggle to put much into a trailer still attached as lacking reach.

Finally remembered to get some pics when I was using the trailer

That looks a nice crane but must weigh 1500kg on its own. Would be good if you can load another trailer all day long.

Wow, that's very impressive. A good ton in those pallets? useful even as a site crane. :thumbup1:

Those ones were at around 800kg

Suprisingly I still have just a gnats over 2000kg payload, crane with its frame and donkey engine weigh in at around 600kg and trailer is about 850kg

Superb a proper usefull bit of kit. Surprising how the smaller trailers with no sides or ramps you can save weight over the 18ft triaxle things you see about.
