Easy lift harness or GTM Harness

Sorry guys if you dont ask ? Well its either of the above two . Easylift or the GTM / Elephant trunk harness as its more commonly known . Pros and cons for both please . Long story short my shoulders are nailed . How do you guys with this type of harness manage when stood on step ladders ?

If I was a home owner with very long hedges that I trim myself twice a year I'd get the GTM.

Any more work than that and there is nothing else on the market that is close to the ELH.

 

It's a completely refined product and after using mine many times now, I have not thought "Oh I wish he'd designed that bit differently."

I start trimming and stop when the fuel runs out, but only because the fuel runs out!

 

Best bit of money I ever spent and I only do about 16 days a year hedge cutting.

Is it any good with a telescopic pruner, Stihl HT101? Nowadays I find I can hardly support the thing fully extended even near vertical.

 

BTW Is NPTC unit 31 (as was) necessary for a pole pruner?

Pole pruner is i believe cs 47 or near that, also if i was you id take that chance in buying the 'arborist HD' version of the ELH.

It will support the pole pruner that much that itll 'float' in front of you. Then when you want to use a hedge trimmer (including pole hedgie)) you just simply remove one of the pistons 👍

Me too!

 

Get the one with two gas struts and then you can take one off.

I have landed several hedge-trimming jobs this year and wouldn't be without it!

I got the Landscaper model because I'll only ever use it with a hedge cutter.

Afternoon Mr Bell. I have no use for either of these products. What I can tell you though. I have seen quite a few people try the Easy lift harness. Not one person that tried it could fault it.
