l/r fuel consumption

if your worried about mpg on a l/r, dont look at a l/r.

 

the d4 we had on borrow for a few days had 5 days of generally being booted around like it wasnt ours, because it wasnt, and was getting 25mpg. thats over 500 miles.

 

my disco 300tdi with the pump played with will probably dream about 25mpg, dads 2.4tdci defender carrying a couple hundred kgs minimum at any time and up to about a ton plus a trailer will be lucky for 20. driving 'empty' with no water or trailer would still only see 300-350 miles out of £90 of diesel.

HI ROB i get 300/350 miles out of my 110 tipper 300tdi that on £100 diesel thanks jon :thumbup:
