Just seen an advert from another local firewood guy, summer special £175 for 3.5 cube seasoned. Think I will either offer to buy the whole lot off of him or wait till he has sold out and all his customers head my direction (hopefully). Makes my summer special price look...not to special!

Mentally thats £50 a cube, ( inc VAT ??) buying cord in and putting into into bags is not much cheaper than that. If its good quality hardwood, 14% ish, consistant length, split, I would be tempted to ask him how much for 25 cube, and buy it. Keep it 6 months and double your money.

My prices are double, so yes would be easy to make a few £££
