EA Duty of Care Regs; had a letter this morning...

Any other registered waste carriers get one of these letters warning of spot checks etc? I'm worried because I bet the EA would love to pounce on woodchips on the way to the farm...:thumbdown:

 

i read that you dont need a liscense for woodchip, because it is recyclable:confused1::001_smile:

more red tape.. another money making scam for the government.????

 

soon they'll be pouncing on joe public,taking a trailer full of crap to the tip????:sneaky2::sneaky2:

My letter RX today states that as well as the WCL, duty of care must be provable by means of a waste transfer note completed at each and every waste receivers premises. It also states that I must keep a record of all waste I xfer around, be it a spent strawberry grow bag or a yew needle from a hedge complete with weight recorded etc etc!!! Enough to make you want to quit...:sad:

I would be better off getting rid of my waste license and just take a chance not getting caught!
