Still aint safe.

its only like Bradford exept the locals sound like there drinking snot!

It's not too bad in the city centre. There are some scruffy areas where I saw stuff getting thrown at a group of white people. Where they seemed like the minority! Didn't want to stay stuck at traffic lights too long there!

Been there and worked around quite a bit and its ok. It's like anywhere that has its bad areas and its good areas! You soon learn where to add enough money on the job to pay for a new saw just incase!

Why go abroad? Many reasons, one of them being that it helps you realise that where you live is not the centre of the universe, your culture, language and way of life is not the default setting for the rest of humanity.

The French are poor travellers because they (perhaps with more justification!) reason that France has every thing they could wish for, beaches, skiing beautiful countryside etc. The majority of rural French I deal with have never left the country, and it makes them a rather insular and narrow minded bunch.

just my thoughts mind, others may differ.

I have no doubt whatsoever that other people's thoughts will differ. You seem to have a very narrow minded sceptical view of life yourself, have you sought help for this ?
