Hayter lol use to break then pritty often

Honda

Or etesia are the best mowers on the market

Depends if u want to cut grass often and leave strips

Or cut not so often and still make a good job

as other posts. look in at your local recycling centre see if they sell mowers. see if you can find a mountfield, haytor,Honda. with roller if you can get one and grass box. will need some work. but if minor work will get a good mower cheap. and as the old style built better than the new ones. unless you want to pay good money for a semi pro model.

The 'best' will depend on several factors.

Do you want a roller, or 4 wheels.?

Self propelled or push?

What wiidth?

Steel or Ally deck?

Budget?

What is 'best' for one person may not be right for another.

I use an Ariens 21" because it goes at 4mph and can mulch as well as cut. Very handy on big lawns and also for collecting up and shredding hedge clippings so they fit in the green bin. It runs on unleaded so no mixing and cuts clean and tidy.

Honda. Can be expensive but pay for what you get.

Have been hearing good things about the viking mowers at the moment.

John deeres are ok.

Il second that I use a Viking and cant fault it. It's out about 2 days a week and only cost me an air filter and a blade in 2 seasons. It's not a big pro machine I have think its the 4 series but hasn't let me down and would definitely buy another one:thumbup1:
