No I got a small business loan and started a ltd company for kini products uk.

I thought being that we are in recession there would be more deals but its just the opposite, seems retailers are charging as much as they can before the ballon goes up and getting away with it

Pat, we are not in recession, that was years ago!

This is the norm, its how its gonna be for years to come. Please, please, dont anyone think that by some miracle in a few months it will be how it was in 2006.

Hence my comment about wising up, folk need to adjust or move on. Just the way it is.

I agree

We most definately are not in recession though often acting like we are (giving exemplary customer service).

We're the busiest we've been for 10 years.

Agreed, good call about 2006, it was a false nirvana, clients everywhere, happy to pay whatever, your house making more money than you. All built on credit.

When all else fails, ignore the facts and hope for the best.

Alternatively - if your rates aren't bringing you in enough either up your rates

(imagine if everybody did this) or find something that will earn enough

OR

don't expect quite as much.

There are always choices.

I'd agree with that for sure - always remember grandparents saying stuff like "cut according to your cloth". Took a while to get my head round it but it makes sense.

I used the word recession tongue in cheek. I agree with you that how it is now is how its going to be for a very long time.
