Think there's a decent genny engineer comes in here at times, maybe he could help ya with it:p

But seriously, is it running 3 phase, what sort of size genny u need to run it? Any chance off a 16amp supply?

James,

I tink the web-site states 11kW, which I understand can draw substantially more on "startup".

Our 230V pole mounted pot transformer, is as far as my shay bino holding hand, can discern.

rated at 16kVA/16kW (an i know there different!)

So even after spending 1500/2000 on a convertor, could still be chancy.

Or the additional cost of a genny.

I tink yon genny spec (who bes on here)

talked about needing at least twice rated load.

so 20kW abs min prob better with 30kW min.

as always,

Yes 11kw has 40kva genny written all over it. You may get it started with less but it wont do genny or motor much good long term. I have a 60kva and run a big 5kw dust extractor at the same time. Engine driven is more portable but noisey and expensive to run especially petrol.

above talked about sale the lt 20went for bargain price of 6800 + 5% buyers fee , bunded 2000 ltr tank 2011 with electric pump and meter 560 ish, old cooks winch front loader county? sold near 5000, I thought farm sales all v high prices but still a bargain to be had , timber sold for silly low prices very disappointing, but good for the purchaser !

£6800.00 plus 5% fee and VAT 20% = £8500.00 still not a bad deal.

Best deal I recon was the blue forestry tractor I think it went for £4500.

The only place Ive seem so many Arb wagons apart rom the Arb show.
