I have one and would say just buy it, you will not look back.

 

They are getting on a bit now and look, well, erm unstylish but its a tool that wont let you down, and for the money there is nothing else available that would keep up with it.

 

You might guess, I am a fan. Imo, you can keep your 9" jensons, tw's, greenmechs etc. Ive tried them all and none come close.

I could never understand why they stopped making them!?! They just needed updating and modernising - but they decided to delete it! Proper old skool chipper, just make sure that it complies with H&SE regs....

Tomorrows it's 1st day. How did every one get on with the single feed roller?

Mate, it was my main concern before I got mine but anyone who had actually used one said dont worry. So, I guess there's another one now, dont worry about the single roller:001_rolleyes:

 

To put it into context, Ive used a good few 8" and 9" chippers and that thing will embarrass any of them. TW, Gmech, Jenson etc. As Pete says, the only down side to them is the stopped making them!

 

Yours looks a fairly late one though with the perkins engine so should last years.
