Chip body design land rover

I wouldn't want our 130 as our only truck, it's too small for a proper day. Fine for small stuff, off road stuff and towing the 3.5 ton trailer. You can physically fit more on a transit, but like all 3.5 tonners you will be overweight by elevenses of most tree jobs.

thats the problem mine was a crew cab transit once loaded just asking to be pulled... and crap at getting into the woods.... I will live with it and see what happens :confused1:

We've been over this on this forum a "few" times, but 3.5 tonners and smaller are too small for every day tree work (if you want to work legally) IMO .. The land rover has it's uses as special vehicle but I would get a LOT less done if it was my main chip truck.

My 110 holds about 4.4 cubic meters. We don't have a tool box though. I know they ain't designed for it,but the chipper hopper gets used for storage more often than not. I have a roof rack but not put a toolbox on yet. Plan your job and you can get as much done. I can get as much legally on the land rover as I could on my ldv. Could get more illegally in the ldv but it wouldn't go up steep hills fully laden
