What chainsaw boots for groundwork?

Air stream. Excellent boot, goretex too.

 

 

air streams are good, narrow boots that are ideal in right crowns but i found them uncomfy after days on the ground, sore/aching feet.

 

Got the zermatts and all those problems went! very sturdy boot, although i think they will need a resole by christmas, got them in october 12.

Elten fellmasters. Around £90 I use these all the time and a pair will last for 18months plus. Very comfy and have never had a blister from new. One very important accessory with boots to prolong the life of any boot is a long shoe horn or you will find the backs go after constat on off.

If you want to know the history of my boots then here goes Johnny boy (wot ever floats your boat...)

 

Them brown sthil (with v tread bottom.

Haix blue ridge (two pairs of them)

Haix protector pro.

Meindl air streams.
