... I can't ring the dealer of my choice, as I have done for twenty six years...

Well there might be a risk of you cutting yourself on an edge or you might going to fit it incorrectly or your might not have the correct part and will need expert guidance or you might like to scrap that saw and buy the latest model or would you like something for the weekend? (Oops! Lost my train of thought there.) Or you might want to get a keyring but need help choosing the right one for you or you might want to pay the rrp, donate an arm, donate a leg and sign over your first-born to Stihl so they can engineer the perfect weekend warrior or maybe you just want re-assurance that Stihl are your lord and master or perhaps you want someone to hold your hand and lead you through the stressful process of spending money.

Pick one or all and if you're at all worried with your decision. There's a Stihl salesperson, who'll assure you you're still sane and "Would you like to buy a new saw?"

That's probably the only sensible explanation. Too be honest I didn't know anyone else made top handles, it's been stihl for entire career, never considered trying anything else till now.

Just bought the Echo 350 top handle to replace my old and broken 200t. What a cracking saw, and now with Stihl new policy, it has made it doubley good

Rub it in why don't ya:lol::lol::lol::lol: If this rule is going to stick, and I want to stay with the convenience of our current dealer (Hours drive away), I doubt if I'll ever buy another Stihl.

Had a quick reckon up today, out of over thirty saws, hedgecutters, telescopic/long reach and blowers, we have three non-stihls. WTF are they thinking.

£305 on the bay . Fee post but from Italy ......

Bought a new lombardini engine for a kwik-chip from Italy a few years back. Arrived two days after the order:thumbup1: Marvels of the world wide web,:lol:

Anyone heard the rumour that Stihl dealers are being instructed to remove phones and faxes, can only communicate by carrier pigeon:001_tt2:

So if the order is never received they can then blame the shooters.:lol::lol:
