whats the biggest limb/tree you have cut with a silky

I think About 8 inch. 200t ran out of fuel on the last cut of a small beech reduction so silky all the way . Was a nice new blade too so it flew through it.

Over 15", no chainsaws allowed on the site! It was a bugger too, my silky is only 300mm (12")

I do all my reductions with a silky regardless of size . This may change when I get a 150t .

I once felled a 4 inch diameter conifer near the new forest - with a bread knife.

It was to become a Christmas tree at our student flat (1975 I think).

Took bloody ages and there was no hinge - some time before I took CS31 etc.

I felled a dead tawa tree that was 2 feet in diameter at my campsite in nz, considering I was using my gomtaro 330 I had very little pull and had to go from both sides. Was a bit of effort but had to be done! I misjudged the fall distance and ended up breaking our gaslamp haha.
