Hi all, as the title says. Young brambles sprouting all over the place need to hit them before they grow. Again rhode seeds sprouting and bushes taking over, amazing how quickly it can take over. Can i spray bushes or do i have to cut down and treat the stumps. Thanks

Round-up at 2% works well for both. Add some mix B at 1% for Rhoddy's if you want to make really sure. Timbrel works really well for Rhoddy if they're slightly bigger bushes, but at this time of year with plenty of young growth you should be alright with Round-Up, I think its still cheaper. Spray to run off on both bramble and Rhoddy.

:five::rock: That's exactly what we use for the Laurel n rhody in our bits. What concentrations (ml:10l ratio) do you mix it?

That's Roundup biactiv 360 at 2%, right? I'm using Gallup HiActiv as I don't like giving Monsanto the money. It's stronger so 1.5% for Gallup + mixture B and dye. Saves missing any.

+1 beat me to it gallup is a far better product than roundup. made for the professorial market so can only be bought from a trade outlet not a garden shed.

for thistles if you can still get it grazon 90 was being withdrawn does a good job on those plus docks and rag.

Roundup and Gallup Amenity are exactly the same thing. Neither is better than the other.

Both can be bought at 30% concentration from a trade outlet and will do the same job. On Gallup here simply as it's cheaper.

Anything sold into the DIY market is approx 3% concentration.
