Is it better not to start with a cheap saw and work with it first to learn all mistakes on it than a good quality high priced saw?

No, better to learn on a small homeowner saw from a known brand, such as a husqvarna 135 or a stihl ms180

Urn. No. Sorry its not.

Cheap Chinese is just that, and no matter how similar it may look to a stihl or husky its not.

The trouble with chinese saws is that we tend to brand them all as rubbish.

Some, are indeed absolute rubbish, but others, such as the Mitox, offer very good value for money and are pretty decent saws.

I hate to admit it, but there is some very good kit coming from China

Lets face it though if your a first time buyer and only want the saw to cut a few shrubs etc around your garden, you wouldn't have a clue about the quality only that the one from china is way below the price of the orange saws that they are selling at the shop with big signs saying STIHL..............or maybe husqvarna

Thing is if you ask the Chinks to make a saw for £7.28p they will . If you asked them to make a saw for £700 then the would also . Because every one wants something for nothing and want it yesterday they ask for cheap so the chinks oblige . So it goes around and disappears up it own poop shute ............
