Tipper trailers

I'm running a Brian James 10x5.5 tipper behind my 07 Ranger. Great trailer. Swap to the aluminium floor and you gain another 80kg of load. We put some thin ply around the inside of the cage for chip.

Feels a lot lighter than the equivalent Ifor when towing empty.

Think I'm going to buy the 8x5 tomorrow. Are they good for chipping into or are they just to small

Abit on the small side 10 x 5,6ft are better

Get just over 3m of chip in mine. Lined it with stock board as it lasts well, was fine chipping into it with the tw as not overly powerful at blowing chip but I surspect if I did it with the quadchip I might end up with chip all over the place.

We have a Wessex trailers 8'x5.8' tipper. its great when the tipper elecy isn't soaking. We also have an Ifor Williams with a Chinese botex on the front (soon to be removed and replaced with tipper) and a Tri axled "off roading" trailer which I think is Ifor as well but its a 16' x6' cage. The tipper sadly makes the ground clearance 6 inches lower due to the mechanism. So it drags its nose across the ruts.
