Going to look at a FMG/Timberjack 1210 any one had experiences of the early 1210's?

Played with one for a day in 2000, my mate had it leased from FC and I wanted to see what common knowledge controls were all about, being used to 6 levers on the Counties. I cannot remember much about it except the lack of "seat of your pants" feel and that we went where no county would dare to go. It was a clear fell for some opencast mining and apparently not unusual to fall down an old shaft.

As TCD said we love our Bruunetts simple and robust and hard working, it's in the woods working 5 days a week not bad for a 30 year old machine and it,s fantastic on fuel. Our Bruunett driver was off ill yesterday so i did a day on it working on the side of an old pit heap, enjoyed it so much, i,m going to drive it Saturday morning as well, we don't normally work weekends.

Easy to get out, quick tug with a 7 ton digger, got 4 on site! Peat and forestry is two things equalling a nightmare! Really need a second set of band tracks.

Got another 4 loads or so to get out, its that wet were moving the wood to where i can get to with an excavator and timber grab and bog mats is needed.
