I hope you don't mind me saying but chainsaw trousers are the last line of defence when it comes to chainsaw injury - If you cut your trousers then something somewhere went seriously wrong and it doesn't matter what trousers you wear, you'd have cut them just the same.

 

i know this, it was completely my fault basically being lazy with my positioning i think, and it has shook me up a little bit and just proved to me how easy it is to cock up, cheers for the advice all.

Looks like I've got to get a good deal on the stretch airs then Joe!, whats the best priced place for them guys?

 

the best i've found for them is honey brothers so far and there price is £212.69 inc VAT, they might do you a deal on a few pairs if you speak nicely to them?...

i have had my stretch airs for over 2 half years, i am not climbing full time but certainly the best all roung protection trousers i have ever had. the price has certainly went up, but you only get 2 legs

Had my strechys for coming into second year next month and only prob is some stitching around the zipper hhas come away and my zipper kinda is wonkey.

 

But love them nice to climb in and they been heavy used only holes are were sometimes i might catch them with my spikes when walking.

 

Im getting another pair had hiflex and crawled into one years use they are not for me material is very weak very light tho but you do look like a gay in them lol.

my mate was in a pub 1nce (in his hiflex's) and a group of girls kept laffin at him, when he finally asked wat was goin on, they pointed at his trousers n sed "are u a homosexual!?"

I have hiflex, been good 4 me, light to climb in and comfy when on. The wife likes em aswell, when i put them on im lucky to get out of the house in one piece!:001_tt1:

I have just ordered a pair of Class A Stretch Airs for summer, I will be taking the whipping twine to them when they arrive, first the buttons for the braces, next the phone pocket stitching and velcro fastener and lastly reinforce the fly.

 

Should be Okay then.
