which van would you go for

Because the gardening business is taking off I'm currently looking for a decent 2nd hand van the choice is

Fiat Scudo 1.9 diesel on an 05 plate 54k £3k

Peugeot Expert 2.0 hdi on 06 plate £4.5k

or For Connect LWB on 08 plate with 90k on clock £3.2k

Any views much appreciated.

cant really comment on those 3,never had dealings with them, but my transit 330 is a good all rounder, good on fuel,comfy to drive and can take a good load

Can i say citroen. Mine has been very reliable. But the pug hdi engine, is a decent one.

Called in to see the ford the other day before it had been prep'd. Looked pretty rough but for the price and the fact they seem to get a good write up it did appeal, But then I like the idea of the lower mileage on the other two. All come with full service history and the Peugeot and Ford both have the high roof,making them handy to get the mowers in and out.

Think the scudo is out of the running despite it only having 54k on the clock as the reviews aren't that brilliant for the 1.9 diesels.

When I was after a connect I could only find 52 plates in budget (£2500) with 110 plus miles, if its full service history etc crack on with it? Go have a look now its been prep'd and hope another grand hasn't been put on the asking price ha.

Yeah, I wasn't that impressed either. I was considering it as we did have Fiat multipla when they first came out and it was brilliant but the Scudo is not the same quality.
